Cymru Goch was formed in 1987 and fights for a Free Socialist Wales. Only the workers of Wales can free themselves from this joke called British democracy.

Our socialist democracy means communities having the power to run themselves and workers controlling their own lives.

The days of swapping one elite for another - whether in London or Cardiff - are over. There is no idle dream, it's essential because the free-market system is failing us so badly.

English colonial rule over Wales is personified by Governor-General Hague. He rules his colony by quangos that ensure Tory politicians dominate in a country that consistently rejects the party of the ruling class.

Our language and culture are treated with contempt - a few crumbs of grant-bribes are tossed to tame Uncle Tom politicians while the communities that sustain the language are ripped apart by unemployment, low pay, the housing crisis and drugs.

A Welsh Socialist Republic would end the injustices tearing our country apart - to abolish poverty we aim to get rid of the rich.

We have no faith in Establishment parties of any colour - Tony Blair is a Tory Blur, complaining that this vicious right-wing regime is stealing Labour's policies!

We want to build a socialist alternative for Wales and the world. So-called socialists in Parliament want your vote so that they can line their pockets. Rather than trusting politicians, we believe people can change their lives through community resistance.

This grassroots socialism gives Welsh workers control over our future rather than passing power from one set of bosses to another. If we're going to be free, we'll have to it ourselves.
