"Welsh comrades in Cymru Goch are privileged to pay tribute to fellow republican socialists who gave everything in the cause of social and national liberation.
There can be few communities throughout the world that have not struggled more fiercely than those in the occupied Six Counties. It's a struggle that's inspired us and other revolutionaries on in our darkest moments. Derry has a proud history of being in the forefront of that struggle, from the Battle of the Bogside onwards and itıs a tribute to that determination to fight for what you believe in that three of the 10 hunger strike martyrs came from this city. Derry is a city that has already got up off its knees. Connolly would be proud of you." |
