The decision not to extradite Dermot Finucane and James Clarke has been "warmly welcomed" by the IRSP.
Spokesperson Kevin McQuillan said "We heartily welcome the court's decision not to hand Finucane and Clarke back to the British on the grounds that they will be brutalised. This recognition of an example of the reality of life under British occupation should, put together with the cases of the Guildford 4 and the Birmingham 6, ensure that no Irish person is ever handed over again to such a corrupt and brutal regime." |
