Irish Republican Socialist Movement Statement on the Attacks On Two Members
21 March 1996

The Irish Republican Socialist Movement condemn without reservation today's attack on two of its members. These two men were entering the Royal Victoria Hospital to visit the victim of Tuesday's attack at Kelly's corner when three men approached and began opening fire in an indiscriminate manner that endangered Hospital staff, visitors and hundreds of children in nearby St. Catherine's School. Only by sheer good fortune no one was injured.

The latest attack shows that this small group of maverick drug dealers don't care who gets caught in the firing line.

We call on them to cease forthwith with their counter-revolutionary attacks on RSM Personnel. We have been down this road before and will not be deterred now from building a solid foundation of republican socialism.
